| In Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, India and Mongolia SNMC® has been on the market. Wide prevalence of viral hepatitis B and C are shared by these countries and there are strong medical interests in the therapy for these difficult-to-treat diseases. Minophagen is now implementing an extensive clinical study on SNMC® with patients in Europe to accumulate data for submission to the regulatory agency for a marketing approval in Europe. It will not be very long before the drug is introduced to the European countries and serves as an important addition to the current therapy of chronic liver diseases.
Minophagen takes initiatives of organizing an international hepatitis network, consisting of leading hepatology experts of the world who represents different countries or areas, as a medical promotion activities of SNMC®, including panel meeting, symposia, presentations in medical congresses, exhibitions, publications, clinical trials, etc. Apart from the scientific activities performed for SNMC® in Japan, we have created many important and valuable sources of information and medical/scientific events through which medicinal doctors can acquire better understanding and knowledge of SNMC®. |
