Satellite Symposium at APASL Beijing Meeting

Minophagen Pharmaceutical Co. and Eisai China Ltd. held a satellite symposium at the 20th APASL Meeting in Beijing (March 26, 2010). In the symposium, entitled ‘For a better prognosis of IFN non-responders with currently available therapy’ as an appeal for SNMC therapy for hepatitis C patients left from standard therapy, Prof. Michael P. Manns (Hannover Medical School, Germany) made a presentation focused on the SNMC European Phase III Study and the usefulness of SNMC in IFN non-responders and Prof. Yu-Ming Wang (The 3rd Military Medical University, China) a presentation introducing clinical experiences with SNMC in hepatitis B and autoimmune hepatitis, under coordination of Prof. Ji-Dong Jia (Capital Medical University, China --Chairman of the APASL Beijing Meeting) and Prof. Masao Omata (Tokyo University).

Booth exhibition was also made during this meeting with presentation of the reports of SNMC long-term therapy in Europe and Japan.
